Hi, I’m Stephanie — wife to Marcus, mama to three kiddos and one adult child, and a woman who has walked through the storm and come out stronger on the other side.
Our family’s wellness journey began in the fire. When my second oldest was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease at age 9, our world turned upside down. There were no brakes—just round-the-clock monitoring, exhaustion, and a thousand unknowns. Those first few years felt like living inside a tornado. And while I was doing everything I could to keep my child safe, I was slowly disappearing.
I was surviving on autopilot. I pushed through each day with a smile, but underneath the surface, I was drowning in functional anxiety—the kind that lets you keep going on the outside while everything is unraveling on the inside.
Over time, that anxiety began to spiral into depression. I stopped caring for myself—not just physically, but emotionally and spiritually. I believed the lie that I didn’t matter, that I had to wait my turn… maybe someday, when the kids were grown, I’d finally breathe again.
But God, in His mercy, intervened.
He gently showed me the truth:
Neglecting myself wasn’t selfless—it was actually stealing from the ones I loved.
So, I made a small, obedient choice to begin activating my body.
It wasn’t flashy. It wasn’t perfect.
It was a simple yes—to nourishing my body, calming my nerves, and stewarding my health.
Within 30 days, I could feel the shift.
I wasn’t snapping as easily.
I had more clarity, more peace, and more energy.
My family noticed it too.
This wasn’t about chasing some “ideal” version of health.
It was about partnering with God to care for the temple He gave me—so I could fully show up for the people He entrusted to me.
